Handmade necklaces you make your very own

A LOVEissue necklace is more than a string of beads. We make every necklace by hand in our own atelier, and most of them have our signature clasp for hanging charms. You start with a beautiful base and make it more personal piece by piece. From cheerful necklaces for kids to eye catching statement pieces for adults, you will find them all together here.

The necklaces you will find

• Seashelly hearts: necklaces with shell hearts in pastel, ivory, green, pink or full colour.
• Daisy necklaces: daisies made from Miyuki beads, sometimes combined with shell or gemstone beads.
• Bold beads: big 12 mm beads in shades such as rust, brown, butter yellow and dusty lilac, with a toggle clasp you wear at the front.
• Tube, Sparkle and Color tri: solid tube beads, sparkling beads or triangular stones with an ombré effect.
• Gemstone: necklaces with agate, jasper, hematite or jade beads, a few of them with a smiley.
• Fruit: lemons, cherries and the Fruity necklace from Fruitylicious.
• Stainless steel: a steel chain, plain or with hearts, as a calm base for your charms.

Twilly necklaces: scarf and necklace in one

A special one in the collection is the Twilly necklace. It is made from soft Liberty London fabric in 100 percent Egyptian cotton, with adjustable sliding knots and stainless steel details. Slide off the charm and the parts and you are left with a Twilly scarf to wear in your hair, around your wrist or on your bag. You will find separate scarves in Twilly scarves.

Materials and how we make them

We string our necklaces with Miyuki glass seed beads, shell, real freshwater pearls, gemstone beads and acrylic beads. Clasps and parts are stainless steel: hypoallergenic, and they do not discolour with normal wear. Because everything is handmade, every necklace has its own small differences, and that is exactly what makes it special.

Lengths, layering and charms

Many of our kids' necklaces measure between 34 and 37 cm with a 3 cm extension chain, so you can wear them at different lengths. The Bold beads come in 39 cm and 43 cm; we recommend the longer size from around 14 years and for adults. The Shortie is 32 cm and sits like a choker. Combine a short and a longer necklace for a layered look, and wear the clasp at the front to show off your charms: your own initial, a smiley or a Swarovski crystal heart. Prefer a cleaner look? Simply turn the clasp to the back.

A necklace with a letter charm is a personal gift for a birthday, a special day or simply a sweet surprise. Your order arrives as a letterbox parcel with track and trace, shipping within the Netherlands is free from € 50 and you have 14 days to return it. Please note: our necklaces are not suitable for children under 3.
