Charms to make your jewellery personal

A charm turns a necklace into your necklace. You hang our charms on the clasp of a LOVEissue necklace, and because several fit at once, you can keep creating new combinations. A letter for your own name or your child's, a smiley for a good mood, a clover for luck: you decide what your necklace says. The charms belong to our Signature charms collection, together with the necklaces made especially for them.

The charms you can choose from

• Letter charms: initials in stainless steel, in shell pearl or in transparent pink resin.
• Smileys: stainless steel in different sizes, square or set in a gold heart, and resin with a pearly sheen or glitter.
• Hearts: stainless steel, resin and Swarovski crystal in amethyst and Bordeaux Aurora.
• Luck and nature: a clover, a horseshoe, a moon, a shooting star, a daisy, a tulip, a butterfly, a bee and a yin yang.
• Sea and animals: starfish, a seashell, a lobster, a poodle and a teddy bear.

Materials and finish

Most charms are stainless steel: sturdy, hypoallergenic and they do not discolour with normal wear. We also have resin charms, light as a feather with a subtle pearly sheen or a touch of glitter, and Swarovski crystal hearts in 10 or 14 mm that beautifully catch the light. There are small charms for a delicate look and bigger ones, such as the 20 mm smiley, that stand out straight away.

How to wear and combine charms

You hang charms on the clasp of your necklace. Wear the clasp at the front and your charms take centre stage; turn it to the back for a calmer look. Letter charms: your name or someone else's

A letter is the easiest way to make a piece of jewellery personal. Choose your own initial, your children's or that of someone dear to you. Wear your children's letters together on one necklace, for example, or pair a letter with a lucky charm. Because charms are sold separately, adding another letter later is easy.
